If you believe there is a fault in one of our software products, please fill out and submit the following bug report form. You may also want to check out our list of known problems.
If you just want to ask a question about any of our products, go to our Ask a Question page instead.
If what you want to tell us is really more of a suggestion or a request for enhancement, please use our suggestion form instead.
Please use this form to report program errors only. Do not use this form to report system problems such as general protection faults or printer errors. Problems such as these should be discussed with the supplier of your computer or printer.
Most reports we receive from this page are not genuine faults with the software. Please make sure you understand the operation of the program correctly before submitting a report. If your problem relates to an issue such as tax legislation or a calculation, please make sure you fully check the facts before submitting a report, for example by reading the appropriate HM Revenue & Customs documents.
When you submit your bug report, we will examine the appropriate part of the software and make any necessary corrections. Normally, we will only respond to you to acknowledge that we accept that there is an error in the software; otherwise you should not expect a reply. If we accept that there is a bug in the software we will publish details on the Known Problems page, including details of how the problem can be rectified.
Please be as specific as possible when describing the problem.
We may need to contact you for more information, such as if we have trouble reproducing the problem you describe.
