10 April 2007 FBI REJECTION 9198
Some users have received rejection error 9198 (Accounting Period details don't exist for this taxpayer) when submitting a Company Tax Return online. This error does not occur due to any problem with the submission; it is an internal HMRC problem that appears to occur mainly when the first return is being submitted for a company.
We have been advised by HMRC that, if you get this rejection message, you should contact the Online Services Helpdesk or the appropriate Network office, who will be able to advise what accounting period details are held, if any, for that company.

Box 69 - tax at underlying rate on remaining profits
HMRC has acknowledged there is a problem with its calculation of the entry in Box 69 (tax at underlying rate on remaining profits). This appears to be a rounding issue, which results in a rejection being issued when it should not be.
At present, we do not have any information on when this problem will be rectified. If you get a rejection indicating an error in the calculation of Box 69 and you need to submit the return immediately, you will have to send the return on paper.

Non-corporate distributions brought forward
The Transfer function in the 2006 Company Tax Return was not transferring forward any non-corporate distributions carried forward from 2005. This has been rectified from version 1.2.4 onwards. If you have already transferred forward a return from 2005 using an earlier version, you will need to enter the non-corporate distributions brought forward in the Distributions notepad at box 67 on the main Company Tax Return form.

20 June 2006 FBI REJECTION AT BOX 152
For FBI, the entry in box 152 on page 8 of the CT600 must be a maximum of 28 characters. The validation process does not detect an entry greater than 28 characters. If you submit a return with more than 28 characters in box 152 it will be rejected with error code 5012.
The validation will be rectified in future updates. In the meantime, you must ensure that any entry in box 152 does not exceed 28 characters.
As a result of this validation error you must also make sure that the entry in box 149 is not more than 28 characters.
